Christian Values

Add Christian values into your child's day! Every camp is designed to incorporate Christian values that your child can use in their daily lives, such as kindness, gratitude, grace, understanding and forgiveness.

Stay Active
Get active at Camp Kroc! Let your child spend time in a fun and safe environment. From swimming, rock climbing, sport, and more! There is always an activity for your child to do stay active all camp long!

We tried many other camps in the east valley and none of them compare. Kroc had a daily impact on my son, and he learned so many new things that he continues to bring up weeks after attending camp.

My Grandson had a wonderful experience; the Counselors were very friendly and helpful. He has already decided that he want to attend next summer.

Counselors were super helpful and awesome at making my children comfortable. The activities were super exciting to my children and would cry to stay enjoying KROC at the end of the day. They looked forward to participating daily.
I can’t speak more highly of the Kroc center than we do! All they offer, all the amazing staff, the safety measures, and the love at the Kroc! We will always be members!
He loved morning Chapel and swimming. The overall camp he enjoys because of the variety of activities and he never was bored compared to other camps.
My son loves everything about Kroc Adventures camp!

My girls had the best summer camp experience here!! We love the camp so much!

Who's Watching My Child/ Children?

Our Camp Counselors are the heart of the Camp Kroc experience—bringing safety, structure, creativity, and lots of fun to each day. They are dedicated to helping campers feel confident, cared for, and engaged through silly moments, guided activities, team building, and a supportive environment where kids can thrive.

Camp Kroc Jr. Leaders are motivated, dependable teens who are ready to step up, serve others, and lead by example. They are role models in the making—individuals who bring energy, positivity, and a willingness to learn as they support camp activities and younger participants.

  • All staff members will receive First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Staff are trained for emergency procedures at each camp location.
  • There will be a 1:15 counselor ratio for all camp offerings at minimum, at all times.
  • All staff will receive 18 hours of training in childhood development and receive Praesidium Risk Management training.
  • Camp staff will be equipped with radios and first aid kits, as well as all emergency information needed for each participant.
  • Lifeguards will be present during all swim sessions that take place at The Kroc Center.
  • A first aid kit and a list of medications and allergies will be on camp staff at all times. Emergency contact information will remain on staff no matter the activity, and cell phones will be allotted to multiple staff members for emergency purposes and to remain in contact with the Camp Manager.

What if My Child Has Special Needs?

The Kroc Center is committed to the inclusion of all children in our Day Camp Program; however, the Kroc Center Day Camp Inclusion Program cannot provide specialized 1-on-1 supervision/care for any individual camper. As part of the Inclusion Application process, each child (and at least one parent) will be required to attend an interview with the Camp Manager to discuss/determine if we can provide reasonable accommodations to meet your child’s needs and (most importantly) keep them safe while at camp. Please call the Camp Manager at (602) 425-5008 at least two weeks prior to your desired session’s start date to schedule your Inclusion Application interview.

How Do Meals/Snacks Work?

Lunch and an afternoon snack are provided to each camper free of cost! If a camper is a picky eater, has allergies or has dietary restrictions, we encourage parents to pack a lunch from home. Our daily schedules are very flexible and vary depending upon the activities planned for your child’s camp. The typical time frame for lunch is thirty minutes between 12:30am and 1:30pm. Snack and lunch menus will be emailed to parents the Saturday before the scheduled camp and will also be available at the Day Camp Office.

What if My Child Needs to Take Medication During Camp Hours?

We are happy to assist your child with their medical needs. Medication(s) must be in their original prescription container with the child’s name printed on the label and placed in a plastic bag. Please check in the medication at the Day Camp Office and complete a Medical Information Sheet. Kroc Center staff will not dispense non-prescription medications without written parental consent.

What Happens if My Child Gets Sick or Injured?

If a camper is too ill or hurt to continue their camp day, parents will be immediately contacted. For minor scrapes and bruises, Day Camp staff will complete a Report to Parent (RTP) form to notify parents of the event at pick-up time. If the child has a fever, please do not bring them to camp, they will be sent home.
